How To Increase Your Intuition


Intuition is something everyone relies on to help them make good decisions. But what if we don’t know if our intuition is as strong as it could be? How do we make it better, stronger? Here are some helpful ways to do just that.


Trust the intuition that you have. If you don’t use what you already have, there is no way to make it stronger or learn more about it. You need to be able to identify what feels right and wrong and if you don’t let your intuition tell you what’s right and wrong, you won’t recognize it.


Meditating has been said to improve mental focus and strength. If you can find the time to contemplate or meditate to help you focus, this can be a vast improvement.


Your body is what’s most connected to your intuition, because it is closer to nature. Pay attention to how your body reacts to things. Does your brain scream at you to not do something? Do you relax in certain situations? If things feel good and helpful and give you an at home feeling, that is a sign from your body. If your nerves are jumping, or your stomach churns when you look at the creaking bridge ahead of you, you pr
obably should not try to cross it. Know what your body is trying to tell you.


Clear your emotional overload bank. If your stressed, sad or even angry, you are not going to be able to hear what your intuition is really telling you. You need to have a clear signal from it. Think of it as cellphone towers. The signal bounces off one to the next, but what if there is suddenly a mountain in the middle that is taller than both towers. The signal will be hard to find.


Dreams can be discerning as well. Try pondering questions you might have before you go to sleep and see what type of dreams you have the next morning.


Answer yourself inner questions when you can. Practice with things you feel you already have an answer for. If I saw a bridge that looked dangerous, should I cross it, or try to find a different way around? Listen to what your inner answers would be. This is also another way of meditating or getting to know more about yourself and equally effective.


The intuition is a very important decision maker in our mind and body and knows more about situations than we do. If we want to be able to trust it, and know that it is strong and can make good decisions, you need to increase it and you can by trusting what you already have, meditating, paying attention to it, clearing your stress levels, think of your dreams, and practice inner thought questioning.
